New Look!

Hello Readers,

Do you like my new look? I thought: why have a blog named Woman of Colour, that doesn't have any colour?

I am always trying to reinvent myself. Right now I am working on my new diet. Yesterday, I bought two items on the "best foods for women" list. I bought spinach, number 15, which is good for healthy skin and sweet potatoes, number 5, which is good for overall health.

I'm going to cook these goodies tomorrow. I'll include pictures and a recipe of what I make. Hopefully this will be not only be the first step towards a new diet but a new way of thinking and living.

xoxo

New Diet!

Hello Readers!

Do I have any readers?

I just realised that I have not blogged in a month. So much for my one post a day diet! School has been crazy of late and I just have a bit of a break before I have a million assignments due.

Anyway, I have been thinking alot about my health lately. During the last four years of university, I've basically battered my body with stress, poor sleeping habits, eating lots of fast food and less than regular exercise.. Sigh, I've just been sinning against my body and it has got to stop!

So imagine my excitement when I came across this article http://www.nursingdegree.net/blog/30/100-best-foods-for-women/.

It lists the foods that young women my age (23) should be eating on a regular basis. It's written by nurses who I always like so much more than doctors.

So my challenge to myself is this. Eat more of these foods on a daily basis in the coming weeks. Write about how I feel.

So stay tuned for some upcoming health oriented articles. Maybe not today and maybe not tomorrow but they'll soon come..

xoxo
